The Real Thing
Now that the boys are in a big boy hockey class, it was suggested by the hockey peeps we start introducing "real" hockey gear to the boys.
"Real" as in, take-out-a-second-mortgage if your kid(s) wants to go any further in the hockey program.
"Real" as in, your-kid(s)-should-no-longer-be-using-rented-skates-and-wearing-bicycle-helmets-to-class.
Message received.
Dan scoured the internet and found some great sites for gear, measured the boys' little heads and, as of Saturday, are the new, proud owners of "real" hockey gear.
We've only gotten the helmets and gloves to far...pads, jerseys, skates and sticks will have to wait until Mommy gets another "real" paycheck.
Or wins the lottery.
