It's Been a While...

Hello blogging lovelies,

First off, thank you, as always, for stopping by my little blog and reading my musings about my boys, rants and ramblings and let's face it - life in general. I truly appreciate you and thank you for your email messages, comments and overall blog stats.

To that end...an explanation of sorts:

I've been away from this thing for nearly a month now because life has thrown our family a curve ball. The kind of life-altering event that snatches the breath right out of your lungs and brings you to your knees in disbelief and utter sadness. The kind that tests your faith or, in my case, gives St. Jude an ear-full.

I'd rather not divulge the details, but rather, will return to blogging as a means of distraction (the boys seem to have an endless supply, thank goodness). Oh, and I have a new writing gig that sorta requires I plug my weekly articles, so please bear with me. ;)

Nothing like a little vague, non-explanation, but from my blog to yours, may the New Year bless you and your family with good health and happiness.
